Diane ELT Carousel

Diane is CEO, President and Chairman of the Board. She joined the company as president in 2004 and added chief operating officer to her responsibilities in 2006. She became chief executive officer and president in 2011 and took on the additional role of chairman of the board beginning in 2014. Prior to joining the company, she was vice chairman of the Footwear Group at Phillips-Van Heusen. Diane also served as president and COO of The Stride Rite Corporation and gained extensive consumer brand management and sales expertise at several companies including M&M/Mars and The Mennen Company.

Molly ELT Carousel

Molly joined Caleres in 2018 as president of Famous Footwear, the largest brand in the Caleres portfolio, overseeing strategy, financial planning, product development, merchandise assortment, marketing, consumer engagement, store productivity, and omnichannel initiatives for nearly 1,000 stores,, and Adams came to Caleres from The Walt Disney Company, where she was executive vice president of global merchandising and product development since 2008.

Sam ELT Carousel

Sam launched his eponymous brand in 2004 and subsequently joined the company when the brand was acquired in 2010. Sam has been a dominant force in fashion, making an indelible impact on some of the most renowned contemporary footwear brands over the past 30 years -- as a licensee for Ralph Lauren, in an executive role at Candies, and as a co-founder of Kenneth Cole. Sam also launched Sam & Libby, which he created with his wife, muse and life-long business partner Libby.


Dan holds end-to-end responsibility for the company’s global product development and sourcing organization. Prior to his current role, Dan served as division president of wholesale product and sourcing. Dan joined the company in 2006 as senior vice president of product and sourcing. Previously, Dan served as managing director at Camuto Group, and he also held various executive positions with U.S. Shoe and Nine West.


Ken joined Caleres in 2015, and oversees the company's finance, accounting, treasury, external reporting, tax, real estate and investor relations functions. Prior to joining the company, Ken served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of JC Penney Company, Inc. Ken also held various executive roles in finance and operations at SunEdison, The Home Depot, The Boeing Company, General Electric Company and McDonnell Douglas Corporation.


Willis provides leadership across all technology platforms, with responsibility for developing and implementing the Information Technology (IT) strategy for the company’s wholesale, retail, ecommerce, and corporate teams, as well as maintaining the reliability, security, and compliance of the infrastructure that supports the collective Caleres organization. He joined Caleres in 2008 and led retail omnichannel strategy development and large scale system implementations to meet the changing needs of the retail customer.


Doug oversees the company’s talent development and human resource administration functions. Doug joined the company in 2000, serving his first two years as senior vice president of human resources for Famous Footwear. He has more than three decades of experience in human resources and operations with various companies, including American Retail Group, The Sports Authority and Macy’s Department Stores.

Malcolm New

Malcolm joined Caleres in 2017 and is responsible for all aspects of heritage brand Allen Edmonds. Prior to his role with Caleres, he served as EVP at One Jeanswear Group - William Rast Division. He also held leadership positions at Tommie Copper, Phillips Van Heusen and Gant Corporation.


Jay has leadership oversight over Caleres' brand portfolio including wholesale, branded retail stores, branded e-commerce, creative and communications. Prior to joining the company in 2008, Schmidt spent more than 25 years developing extensive brand marketing and merchandising experience. He spent ten years with Nine West Group in several capacities and also held positions with Lord & Taylor, May Merchandising Corporation and Macy’s.


Mark has responsibility for all logistics and transportation initiatives, including oversight of our expanding distribution center footprint. His focus is on driving productivity through automation and ensuring our increased capacity enhances our ability to deliver to our customers. Mark also leads the consumer care team and critical special projects. He joined the company in 2012 and in his previous role developed and implemented the company’s information services strategy. Mark has 25 years of experience at Express Scripts, Anheuser-Busch InBev, and United Parcel Service.
